Stay here for a minute whilst I go and get some ice creams.

I've spent the last week on call, which means being paid to stay home and play with Freda. Since the weather's gone from winter to summer with about a week of spring, we took Freda to the park yesterday. Her first time on a swing, and she worked out how to lean into it to make the swing swing! She was amazed to see all the other children there running around.

Sunday is [info]arkady's baptism. So if I'm going out it should really be tonight. What's on? What are you going to? (Oh, and I haven't read LJ in a week again.)

Having spent far too many irreplaceable minutes of my life reading both that post, and a bunch of the comments on it, and before all that the first few strips of the comic, I have come to the inevitable conclusion that I do not care who is or isn't making fun of what, or does or doesn't think they're being funny. I declare a gay orgy of hate on EVERYONE.

The worst part about that comic is that it makes plain just how little separates it from Penny Arcade (which is Not Funny and will never Be Funny no matter how many fanboys cry when i say so).

Penny Arcade is a daily editorial cartoon. It's too often incomprehensible unless you follow gamer media too closely or read the daily editorial. That's not quite a standalone web comic.

That comic somehow manages to remind me of Doobl, which is best read from the start as linked for full confusion. I somehow doubt it'll end up in my daily list, even if I do periodically put Look What I Brought Home back in there just in case it's updating again...
